Goldsboro High School
Song
I
There’s a song in the air,
Goldsboro Higli School.
We can hear it everywhere,
Goldsboro High School.
In your school or at home,
Any place you chance to roam,
Goldsboro, Goldsboro High School!
Chorus
Then hurrah for our school,
Let us sing; let us sing;
And we’re up with a cheer
Let it ring; let it ring.
For we’re faithful and true
To our colors, white and blue,
Goldsboro, Goldsboro High School!
H
Though we’re mighty hard to beat,
Goldsboro High School:
Yet we bravely bear defeat,
Goldsboro High School.
We go forward, yes, we do,
And the cause is due to you,
Goldsboro, Goldsboro High School!

Our Gifts
Graduation! Presents! Goodbyes! Pres
ents! Tears (maybe)! And more
presents.
Golly, what a wonderful time getting
and receiving presents! Our first present
was received way back last September
when we fortunately w^ere given Miss
Gordner as our senior adviser. Another
gift was having Miss Falkener as di
rector of our Senior Play. Our best
goodtime gift this year was our junior-
senior.
After we had a whole afternoon to
rest(?) on Class Day, Mr. Frank Rems-
burg was our host at the Paramount
Theater. Heilig and Meyers’ Furniture
store must have known that we had
something to lock up, ’cause they gave
us the cutest miniature cedar chests with
a lock and key. As soon as Mr. Gaddy
wound the clock down at Rogers’ Jewel
ry Store, every senior boy and girl was
wondering whether or not he or she
would win the beautiful watch they will
give to the lucky senior boy and girl on
whose names the hands stop.
