Yes, at Least 295 Reported Caps Edge Birds in 7-0 Win Did you knoA' that 295 children in Rocky Mount Schools are now going without anything whatever to eat at noon because their fami lies are unable to provide the money for a hot lunch or a sand- v/ich? The Schol Board’s new policy of making students stay on the school grounds curing the lunch period and the Board’s establish ment of a central kitchen feeding system were to achieve two goals which have been accomplished to a great degree. The aims are as follows: 1. To Insure that the children would eat a well-balanced meal. 2. To insure greater safety for both children and public by eli- mina.ting the noon hour lush of children on city streets.
