New members, chosen only from the senior class, are Lee Bulluck, Russell Clack, Jerry Daley, Glenn Hill, Mitchell Mc Kinney, Peggy Lamm, Sammy Mejers, Margaret Sutton, Kay Turnage, and Stanley Vaughan. High ratings in four cardinal prin ciples — character, scholarship, leadership, and service — made them eligible for this member ship. Allen Croneberg, president of the society, lea the induction ceremony. Judy Brown as Charact er, David Harper as Scholarship, Larry Medford as Leadership, and Blount Taylor as Service, explain ed the meaning of the cardinal principles. Gwen Currin had the devotion assisted by Jacqueline Miller’s singing the Lord’s Prayer. Faye Simpson played the back ground music of “Clair de Lune.” Romonoca officers are Allen Croneberg, president; Craig Daughtridge, vice president; Anna Spruill, secretary; and Jane Bradley, treasurer. The local chapter plans to pre sent a $100 scholarship to some worthy student to help further his education after graduation.
