Following his short address, Egor, after being helped down the steps by Gy Watson, Chair man of the School Spirit Com mittee, and David Williams, Vice President of the Student Organization, proceeded to the burial grounds located between two trees in front of the cen tral kitchin. Cy and David helped Egor because it if doubtful that the old man would have been able to walk straight (at his age). Arriving at the burial site Egor promptly attempted to thrust his shovel into the hard earth, eager to bury Hender son. Greg Low, Student Organiza tion president, explained to Egor that the ’Birds had to beat Henderson in Friday’s game before he could bury them. Only after being promised that he could then bury Henderson would Egor consent to go to his casket. Crawling into the wooden box, Egor made one last ges ture at the crowd, signifying victory. The casket was then placed into a hearst and hur ried back to the cemetery, for Egor had not had his midnigh' snack. Immediately prior to the arrival of Egor, Greg outlined the plans of the School Spirit Cmmittee for the coming year. Following this, the cheerlead ers and band led the students in some news and old cheers. Th2 University of Texas foot ball team has 26 lettermen back this season.
