THE BLiAOKBntD Friday, Nov. 12, 1965 / Seniors Lead First Honor Roll MARY ANN PREGNALL JOHNNY WILLIAMS Rotary Couple Named The November Rotary couple, Mary Ann Pregnall and John ny Williams are a pair of naturals. Mary Ann admits she doesn’t know much about lit erature; Johnny says he has no hobbies! Mary Ann is the type of girl who roUs her hair on orange juice, does all her thinking in the bath-tub, and adores rid ing tractors. She confesses, “I’m not as up on news events as I should be” but she has all the newspaper articles on the astronauts. Gym is not a favorite subject —“My feet get all tangled up and I feel like an idiot.” Only last month Mary Ann was selected Girl of the Month for Business and Professional Women’s Club. Although she was the first Rocky Mount girl so honored, very few people kned about it because Mary *Ann is that kind of girl. In other people, she wants to fin da sense of humor and politeness. In the Ideal Boy she also wants to find somebody SUTTON'S USED CARS Phone 446-9411 CASH OR TERMS WI3 BUY USED CARS 631 So, Church St ROOKY MOUNT, N. She hopes to go to Wake Forest where she will prepare for future work on a lab. “I hate put-ons,” protests Johnny Williamis, talking about the kind of girl he prefers She had also better enjoy dancing and sports and not be too intelligent or too adept at cooking Chinese food. The good- looking football co-captain en joys scouting, football, and hunting. Along with girls, Johnny adds Dion Warwick, dances, Dick Van Dyke, chewing gum and “Get Smart” to his list of I likes.” Present favorite studies are Spanish and physics. Johnny plans on attending either Caro lina or Wake Forest, where he will possibly study medicine. Carolina Cafe For Home Cooked Food STEAKS, CHOPS SEAFOOD Dial GI 6-9976 906 N.
