Colombo. The Class of ’69 placed fewer students than any otiher class, 6 on the A Honor Roll and 36 on the B Honor Roll. Advanced Education Discussed At NCEA Annual Convention The North Carolina Educa tion Association bad its 83rd an nual convention April 6, 7 and 8 in Asheville. Representatives from Senior High School at tending the meeting were Prin cipal V. J. Colombo, Coach Dudley Wihitley, and Mrs. Sus- anne Sifford. The theme of this year's NCEA convention was “Educa- tiion for Succesisful Living.” The meeting consisted of three general sessions, a social hour, divisional meetings, and de partmental meetings wliich were held at different times each day. The guest speakers at the geinoral sessions were Dr. Jack P. Frymier of Ohio State University, and Dr. Jesse Stuart, world renowned writer and; educator from Qreen-up, Kentucky.
