Page 4 THE GRYPHON Fridi^r, May 21. 1971 I Proud Graduating Class Of ’71 . Teresa Vivo and Kenneth Ricks receives Human Relations Ho nor for the month of May. Vivo And Ricks Receive Human Relations Honor For May the Human Relations Committee would like to recog nize Teresa Vivo and Kenneth Ricks as their couple for the month. Teresa, a warm-hearted so phomore, has been noticed by many for her attitude towards others. (Evidently, because she wouldn’t have been chosen as the girl of the month!) Well, getting back to the subject at hand, she was a member of the J.V. Varsity Cheering Squad. Pm sure that her warm smile helped to give confidence to a great number of young men on the J. V. teams. Teresa is very fond of swimming and en joys going to the beach. When told she had been chosen as the girl of the month, she stated, "You picked me at the weirdest moment. It is an honor that I never thought that I would have received.” Good luck, Teresa, for whatever the future has In store for you. Have you seen the young man with the big Afro yet. Well, he’s none other than Kenneth Ricks, Human Relations Boy for the Month. “Spoke”, as he Is usually called, hasanum- ber of past-times. One of which is basketball. He fre quently makes the scene at the Community Center Gym. He at tends the Hillsdale Baptist Church and is treasurer of the choir. He frankly admits that he isn’t all that good at sing ing. Kenneth Is also a member in good standings with the Boys Club of Rocky Mount. Although only a sophomore, he already plans to attend a business col lege. He has yet to decide which one.
