Three active clubs started the school year with a bang by making plans for the future and beginning projects that will benefit the school in numerous ways. The newest club is the FHA (Future Homemakers of America). Mrs. Penny is the advisor of the club. The project that they are now stressing is making odds and ends for hospitals and rest homes. The FHA meets in the cafeteria at 8:00 a.m. for girls taking Home Economics or having at least one year in a Home Economics class. The purpose of this club is to prepare girls for homemaking in the near future. Although this club has just started, it has many plans for the future, and it wants to carry out these plans a s soon as possible. The purpose of the Booster Club, is to promote school spirit in the school and to get outside support. The newly elected officers of the club, President - Rebecca Buffalo, Vice President - Ann Wheeless, Secretary - Alison Davenport, Treasurer - Terre Kilpatrick, and Miss Casandra Hitchcock, the Booster Club advisor, are all striving to make this year SUPER! Some of the projects of the Booster Club include providing football schedules 446-: 9469 « The bank where people make the difference...
