Employ them with precision and urge others to do likewise. Be fair. Take the other party’s viewpoint into ac count. Changing perspective often helps us understand what others are saying and why. Be concise. Use words sparingly. Avoid smothering your good ideas beneath a mountain of verbiage. Be careful. Mean what you say, and say only what you really mean. Heed the advice of the ancient Roman: “Better throw a stone at random than a word.” Be honest. Don’t make words a smokescreen for sloppy thinking. Take warning from the poet’s wry comment; "When ideas fail, words come in very handy.” Be master of your words. payments. Those students who paid the $4.00 down payment will be asked to pay the remaining $3.00 by May 1. The staff would like to commend students for their fantastic participation in the annual campaign. Some patients have died or suffered serious infection from acupuncture needles reports the December SCIENCE DIGEST. Studies made by experts at the University of to be forgotten when congratulations come along. Great importance is placed on sports, clubs, and SRA, but it seems that little cr^it is given to those students who strive for good grades and academic supremacy. Seldom in RMSH School Assemblies does one emphasize book learning and studying; the actual reason students attend school. So, on behalf of RMSH school, faculty, and Rocky Mount City School Ad ministration, we, the GRYPHON Staff, would like to commend all outstanding scholastic achievers! HEALTH HAZARD California and New York’s Mount Sinai Hospital show that at best acupuncture works no better than 50 per cent of the time and should be used with caution usually reserved for anything ex perimental. It works best with patients who are highly susceptible to suggestion. Two Locations To Serve You |218 S. MAIN ST.
