Page Six — THE GRYPHON — Thursday, November 18,1976 School Holds Homecoming STUDKNTS display costumes for hick day, 50'« day, llallowren day, and the mini-parade in a show of school spirit for the homecominfi game. The dress up days, the mini-paradc, and the election of Homecoming Queens all helped to make the days of October 2S-N "the most exciting week of the school year," as one vampire observed. The week before the Home- commg Game at Senior High is traditionally marked by special atiivilies. This year. Monday was Kiddie Day. Schitoi-spirited students dressed tike smalt children Tuesday was Kifiies Day. The siudenu dressed in bobby soi'ks, long skirts, and Itnnylails, and some dressed as Ibe *' Wednesday, «he siudc-nts paid tribule to the Northrrn Nash Knights by observing Hick Day. Thursday, there were strange*looking people walking the halls of Senior High. This was Hallo ween dress up day. Finally, many students paid iribute to the fiHHball team Friday as they wore blue and gold, the school colors. The mini-parade was held on Friday, Oct. N in the gym. This parade is spimsorrd by the Scrvice Club, I'be first ptaiV winner was the Senior Class Float. PNB half-time during Ihe game. They are as follows; Homecoming Queens _are Susan Thorne and Lanie Powell. First runners up are Pam Daniels and Vert>nica Yales.
