DENIM SHOP Dale Beavans as Adam and Lisa Kirlov as Eve star in Senior High’s production of “The Diary of Adam and Eve.” Adam And Eve Performed The dramatics classes are Senior High presented a play at the Tank Theater, on Wednes day and Thursday, Nov. 22 and 23. The play was, “The Diary of Adam and Eve” featuring Dale Beavans, as Adam, Lisa Kirilov as Eve and Kick Bynum as the snake. Dale and Lisa are both first year dramatics students but Kick is a second year student and also a masquer. There wasn’t much scenery or costumes for Dale and Lisa to wear, but according to most students who have seen the play the outfits were not important. It was the acting that was outstanding. Two shows were given both nights, one at 8:00 and at 9:00. The play was open to the public for 25 cents a seat. Many students who saw the performance really enjoyed the show and some even stayed for both shows! The second year dramatics members were the technical crew. Some produced the tickets and programs, some helped with the lighting, and the others designed the scenery. FUp Leads To Tragedy Being successful, three out of four times is usually a good percentage. But for Mrs. Betty Pryor it was tragic. Thursday, Nov. 11, Mrs. Pryor was demonstrating a forward flip to her gym classes. While in the air, she came out of her “tuck” position too soon and landed on her shoulder and the side of her head. Mrs. Pryor was rushed to Nash General Hospital and within an hour was on her way to North Carolina Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill. Mrs. Pryor is presently paralyzed from the neck down. She has regained some feeling between her neck and waist, but she is still unable to move.
