Anita Ledbetter has been cho sen No. 1 beauty of AHS by the senior class to represent Albe marle in the Charlotte Christmas Festival to be held November 12. Not only is Anita a striking beauty with brown hair and brown eyes, but she has a pleasing per sonality and is one of the high school’s most popular seniors. She is quite active in school work: sec retary of the senior class, a mem ber of the Senior Gift committee, a member of the typing club, and was a marshal at last year’s grad uation exercises. She plans to enter nurses training next Sep tember. Anita is looking forward to an exciting day in Charlotte. The plans for the festival include transportation and hotel accom modations, a ride on one of the floats carrying beauty queens from the two Carolinas, and a banquet and dance.
