Pure Oil Products Fox's Fashions Feelin’ lazy? Well, blame it on exams being over and this “spring-y” weather. Valentine’s Day is here, you might be “twit- terpated” (a new word meaning “in love”). Anyway, as usual, spring cloth es are now making their debut, and it looks like the skirts will be shorter, perhaps 14” or 15” from the floor. Suits this season will be checks and tweeds in many color combinations. Also new are the “shirt” dress and “grandfather” blouse. Both are made like men’s shirts with pleats and tucks here’nthere. These come in pale, beautiful shades of pink, lavender, blue, etc. Small scarves, worn around the neck, go with just about every outfit. They come in solid colors and prints, look especially “sporty” with sweaters. Betty Boone had a pink angora sweater on the other day and she confided to yours truly that it was a Christmas present. Lucky girl! Royal or electric blue is very popular around here. Lois Low- der’s and Jane Little’s cardigans are lovely. Nell Hatley has a slip over in blue which she teams with a natural skirt and cardigan; makes a smart outfit. Another knockout is Joyce Cro well’s chartreuse corduroy skirt. It has a cuff around the hem and pockets in the back. « Have you noticed Helen Har wood’s lavender skirt, the short hair of Peggy Redfern, Nancy Au stin, Betty Gantt, and Barbara Setzler? Cute!?! Keep your eyes alert for the new spring fashions. See you next month. Compliments Of E. B. Stone Finance Company OF ALBEMARLE, Inc. Auto Loans — Refinancing — Loans TUCKER-MANN MOTORS, Inc.
