Initiation Is Held For New Members Four girls who came to school March 7 dressed as Bible charac ters were not Bridey Murphey’s followers. Instead. Mickey Doby, Gail Vanderburg, Linda Doby, and Myra Carpenter were garbed in flowing robes and bright tur bans to satisfy the initiation re quirements as new members of the Bible Club. The girls wore their Holy Land habits all day Friday. The second semester initiation party for Bible Club members was held at the Youth Center March 8. “March Winds”, the theme of the event, found expression in the decorations, featuring um brellas perched from wall to wall, and in the weather. Ivan Sibley directed the recrea tion and distributed candy to the winners of the games. A team game emphasizing cooperation and carefulness tested the group’s skill at carrying lighted candles across the floor. The ob- iect was to finish the relay first with the flame still burning. Cokes and an array of home made cakes were served for re freshments. BUCK'S CLEANERS / 424 North Fourth St. Phone YU 2-1714 WINECOFFS' ELECTRIC CO.
