School Pictures For Annual
Are Made By Photographer
Modern Music Masters
Club Receives 13 Members
School pictures for the annual
were made in the Full Moon of
fice October 14 by a photograph
er from Delmar Studios in Char
lotte.
During their English classes
the students reported to the up
stairs lobby and filed into the
studio set up in the publications
oifice to be posed for their pic
tures. Senior class members had
two different poses made. When
the proofs come back they will
choose the one they would like
to have printed in the yearbook.
This is a privilege granted to
seniors only.
Individual photographs of the
faculty were made also.
Doug Eury set up a makeshift
studio in the audio-visual room,
where he took action shots of
each of the faculty members.
The prints are to be used in
the 1959 “Crossroads” and for
this reason all girls and boys
were asked to dress as much alike
as possible. The girls were ask
ed to wear dark sweaters and
white collars. The boys wore
dark coats, white dress shirts
and dark ties.
Members of the Crossroads’
photography staff and Mrs. Car
ter aided the photographer in
making the pictures. Those help
ing were Doug Eury, Ed Bivens,
Priscilla Burris, O. J. Sikes, Pat
Saunders, and Sue Tucker.
