Drama Classes Entertain Student Body
BY ADRIENNE SOYER
The 1988-89 school year is the first time
drama has been offo-ed to AHS students. With
the effort from many students, lots of hard work,
and a very supportive teacher, the drama class is
having a veiy successful year. /
On April 20, the students watched AHS actors
perform the play Makin’ It by Cynthia Mercati.
The play focused on what high school students
really think about life. The play also expressed
problems and insecurites of teachers, students,
^d parents alike. Big Boom at Castle Doom will
beperformedbydramastudentsonMay 11. Itis
a three act play that was written by Peter Walker.
The play i^ about a tour group of girls and their
guide who visit a castle in Transylvania. While
they are there, they encounter a mad doctor, his
wacky nurse, and two other assistants. The
doctor has a plan to start a new civilization by
freezmg a perfect female specimen and killing
everyone else. The target for his plan is Carol,
one of the girls on the tour, who is portrayed by
Stephanie Hinson. This play is sure to keep the
audience full of laughter.

BY ADRIENNE SOYER
Li June, when seniors are graduating, the only
things on their minds are the beach and future

the graduation procession, graduation would only
be one night of chaos and disaster. These ten

The marshals are chosen according to class
