The Deceinber meeting of the P.-"’’. A.
vras held Tuesday, December 6, in the
school auditoriiun at three o'clock.
The meeting was called to order by
the president. The secretary read the
minutes of the last meeting. The treas
urer gave her report. She reported that
twenty-five dollars had been made from
rummage sales. Another rvimmage sale was
held Deceriber 17.
It was reported that sheets, pillow
cases, and one pillow v:ere needed for
the restroom. y\rs. C. C. Potts donF.ted
four pillow cases and a pillow. The
president offered to buy the sheets,
v;hich will be paid for out of the P.-T.A.
funds.
The school has just received from an
interested person the largest donation
that has been given in a number of years.
A gift of a hundred dollars v/as given
through the president of the P,-T,A.,
Ivlrs. F. H, Potts, to be used as that
organization and Summer think best.
To that person who requested that her
name not be mentioned, the entire school
extend their thanks.
Immediately following the basiness
meeting a musical was given by the Pro
gram Committee “Mr s. Siimnior, assisted by
Mrs, Sue Piall,I^rs. DuPree and I'virs, Holt,

Delicious refreshments consisting of
chicken a la king, tea, coffee, and
orange marmalade toast rolls were
served in the lunch room immediately
after the musicale.
