THE FOURTH GRADE
Fourth Grade Geography
We are proud of our geography
in the Fourth Grade. We are study
ing about the Tigris and theEuph-
rates rivers. We pretended that
we came up the rivers in a steam
boat. %en v/e reached tho desert
we v/ent with some men and their
camels. We called that a caravan.
The men carried sugar, coffee,
dates, and figs for food. Houses
are built of sundried bricks and
have flat roofs. This is because
they have little rain fall. Flocks
of sheep and goats live in the
land between the rivers. The flock
are taken from place to place to
find food. Little girls and boys
help in this work,
