Mrs. J.O. Lindsay (tnd party of three friends from Lyinan, S.C*, will be Fourth of July v^eek-end guests; Mr. and Mr s. Tack Rushing and a party of eight from Atlrmta arrived Viednesday for -^^ourth of Julj- week end. Mr, and Mrs, Stanley Smoyer, A’:ron, '^hio, are here for their honey:acon. King’s Inn is fast becoming the honey moon center of Highlands. During the sum mer of 1939, twenty-nine brides and bride grooms spent their honeymoon at the Inn, and so far this season thirteen have reg istered. Mr. and Mrs, King have adopted the lovely custom of presenting each bride with a copy of the famous King’s Irm cook book, never failing to receive a letter of appreciation for both the entertainment and book from the couples after their re turn home. Another attractive two-story guest cot tage has just been completed at King^s Inn, and has been named ’’Balsam Cottage", because of the trees of the same name that surround it. There are six other ver^ attractive cottages on the grounds, all nam.ed for the different wildfloiters so abundant in this section. The nev^r cot tage has three :,arge roo'is on the first floor and a corresponding number of room^ upstairs, each with beautifully equipped bathrooms, and roomj.'- closets.
