This, another new school year, has
started out very nicely*
We have seen two movies this year.
They were *'The Adventures of Huckleberry
Finn” and "Kidnaped”, They were very in
teresting and we enjoyed them very much.
We have gotten a new Coke machine, a
new memo-graph machine and four new Royal
typewriters. Some of the school rooms,
the lunch room and the halls have been
repainted. The partition in the lunch
room was removed during the summer, making
it a nice large room.
There are some new teachers on the
staff this year. Miss Ethel Calloway is
the fifth grade teacher and Mrs, Miller
is the seventh grade teacher.
Miss Jo Anne Dendy is teaching Typing
I and Shorthand, She is school secretary
also.
Some high school students went to the
Anderson Fair, Friday, October l5, in the
activity bus. They had a very nice time*
Once again it is time to be thinking
about the Halloween Carnival. At school
we have started thinking about this. We
are getting our food baskets and decora
tions started.
Everyone has been excited over get
