team, under the direction

Mount Gilead, has been
practicing daily for two
veeks. The girl’s team
started"practice sessions

directed by Fred Brady who
also coached the West Mont
gomery feotball team.
West Montgomery is now
in the Central Tarhell Con
ference with the teams of
Randlemaitt, Siler City, and
East Montgigmery. The War
riors will also be in this
same conference in basebalL
this year and in football

them play. I haven't seen
Horace Ledbetter or Rudy
Lasslster play, but they
show up well.
At present there are 35

After all cuts are made,
the squad will consist of
15 boys. Walton plans to
dress 12 every game and
alternate three uniforms
with different boys. "Cut-
