With the exception of football pLayers, the boys team, under the direction ef Coach James Walton of Mount Gilead, has been practicing daily for two veeks. The girl’s team started"practice sessions last week, ey ara being- directed by Fred Brady who also coached the West Mont gomery feotball team. West Montgomery is now in the Central Tarhell Con ference with the teams of Randlemaitt, Siler City, and East Montgigmery. At present there are 35 boys >C'Ut for th© team. After all cuts are made, the squad will consist of 15 boys. Walton plans to dress 12 every game and alternate three uniforms with different boys.
