The officers elect ed are as follows: David Scott, President; Johnny Ingram, vice-president; Nancy Helen Bruton, secre tary and treasurer; and Charles Bruton, sergeant- at-arms. The other members are Martha Thrower, Ellen Highsmith, James Mashburn, Ann Moore, Fincher Jarrell, Fred Roberts,Jimmy Presslar, Mike Hamlett, Linda Beaman, Linda Hamilton, Terry Wallace, and Sheryl Corbett Mr. T.L. White is the gxDnsar. Thie organization has been active. They planned - the sock-hop after the hom^ coming game and were in charge of conducting the tabulation of votea for homecoming queen. To avoid confusion in the halls at lunch, the Student Council has set up J:all patrols. School supplies are now being sold before school and after lunch by student council members. Johnny Ingram has been chosen as chairman of a . social committee which will supervise dances planned by the student council. Miss Celia Brown, mathema tics teacher, has been appointed as sponsor of this committee. Telegrams that never got through. Oeneral Custer--Indians on warpath.
