Ever green twigs draped over the packages give them a touch of loveliness. Among the graceful branches of the evergreen, are colorful lights spread ing their radiance about, and mingling with, the crackling flames of the warm fire. The room is hushed except for the tender notes of "Silent Night" and the voices of small cnildren playing ag round their gifts. The luminous glow of the Star of Bethlehem looks down on all from atop the feathery tip of the tree. This at- mosp'bere, which diffuses through every home during this joyous seasoi),,is, of course, Christmas. THE PEP CLUB NEWS The Pep Club seems to be on the ball this year, according to club presi dent, Beth Ingram. The membership dues are fifty cents, and many people have joined. The Varsity players are automatically members. Season’s tickets are being provided for club members at two dollars. These u'3 for all home basketball games. All the members of the club are to sit together as much as possible at the games. Lately, the attendance has been good at the meet- ingSj and with the cheer leaders there to lead the club in cheers, new cheers continued on page ^1*'
