A SEASON FOR REJOICING
by: Sara Pat Andrews
A mass of colorful
ribbons and paper are ar—
ranged neatly around a
dark, cedar stump. Ever
green twigs draped over
the packages give them a
touch of loveliness.
Among the graceful
branches of the evergreen,
are colorful lights spread
ing their radiance about,
and mingling with, the
crackling flames of the
warm fire. The room is
hushed except for the
tender notes of "Silent
Night" and the voices of
small cnildren playing ag
round their gifts. The
luminous glow of the Star
of Bethlehem looks down on
all from atop the feathery
tip of the tree. This at-
mosp'bere, which diffuses
through every home during
this joyous seasoi),,is, of
course, Christmas.

have joined. The Varsity

members.

being provided for club
members at two dollars.
These u'3 for all home
basketball games. All the
members of the club are
to sit together as much as
possible at the games.
Lately, the attendance
has been good at the meet-
ingSj and with the cheer
leaders there to lead the
club in cheers, new cheers
