Rachel Hatcher and Clara Watson danced the minuet. Since every one knows about the "little hatchet” there was a grand rush to find hatchets that had been hidden about the room. Little George's hatchet was not as nice as those, tor back of the head of every hatchet was a candy sucker. Margaret .Tones was presented a candy walking stick by Miss Blggers, who explained that it was becanso of her efficiency In finding the most hatchets, iind not because of age that she received the prize. Ice cream and cake were then served and punch got a "grand rush.” Then the Juniors yelled for their Little Sisters and each '•Little Sister" escorted her "Rig Sistor” off to bed. Many young Peoples’ Leaders of North Carolina came and contributed to the discns- sion in a very helpful way. Among these were: Mr. Lamm, new presi dent of Campbell College, B. S. U.; Mr, Tnpscntt, Student Secretary of U. N. C.; Mr. Olive, also from U. N. C.; Miss Cleo Mitchell from N. C. C. W.; Miss Gladys Beck; Mr. Perry Morgan; Mias Dorolliy Kclhini; Dr. Jack Ellis, of RalelKli; T. X. Ashley from Wake Forest: Mr. Yancey Elliott from N. C. Slate College and our own Madeline Elliott, president of the Meredith B. S. C. This cfiuncii, in the words of Mr, Loavell, seemed a lino surcess, Mr. Air.Milian of Wake Forest made a splendid talk Thursday night, thus ad dins to the program in a fine way.
