The new girls were divided into groups, each having a teacher. The girls who acted as teachers ’were: Pauline Newton, Louise Craven, Mattie Lassiter, Francis Barnhill, Janie Durns, Virgina Crawford, Sarah Cook, Lillian Wheeler, Kathleen Durham, Irene Tliomaa, Mai’garet Craig, Louise Hill, Mabel Bagby and Anne Simms. Questions were asked about the hand book and various matters concornlng campus life about which the girls were in doubt. Then, too, each girl was re quired to learn the Alma Mater. An examination was given Friday night. Though It was not difficult the answers sometimes waxed original, sometimes humorous, and many times most startling. Since the faculty of the Training School had worked Industriously they were entertained Friday night by the Student Government Committee. Every one thoroughly enjoyed the evening and so Freshman Training ended happily for new girls and faculty.
