Jf wi; ])an.se to tliink for a nio-
inont our liilile verse for this week
will have a deeper meaning for Ii5.
While iiuiny ut' us tuted to apply
tlii.s verse to our lives, literally,
(lict'i! iii'c also niiiny of us who do
not neetl it in its must olivious mean
ing.
Alcckness might also mean keep
ing an open niiml. 'J'he tendency
to exj)res.s our opinions hastily is
one thing which wc must all guard
against. “Count ten hefore you
speak,” is not a bad j'ulc that our
AIotlKT.s have taught us.

Every college in oar land has a few
Seniors! As wo have roamed around
this old campus of ours we have hearil
a few remarks made about the rights
that are due Seniors!
IC you ever get to be a Senior you
will understand why a Senior feels ^he
should be respected. We grant .you
that little courtesy is shown Seniors
hero. When they start out the door
you’ll see ten freshmen scramble in
front of them. Wliy shouldn’t they be
respected? Have they not spent four
ong years here? Have they not in
turn paid their respect to those older
than they?
And just another thing! The head
of each table has been reserved in the
dining hall for a Senior. Half the
time Seniors go to their tables and
there’s no place to sit. We beg to re
mind you that these places are re
served for Seniors every meal. No
matter if it be Wednesday, Sunday, or
any other day, these places rightfully
belong to Seniors. And they’re com
plaining. Weil, who wouldn’t com
plain? When you reach your Senior
year you'll see how they feel,
We sincerely hope that this editorial
will serve to remind some freshmen
(and other classmen as well) that tho
place of prestige and dignity rightly
belongs to the Senior Class. Will you
kindly recogni-ze this fact and act
accordingly.
