I said that The Twig was sending our Alumnae their issues oE our paper, but that is a mistake because the college is sending them. In which the following names should havo ap peared; Mrs. L. B. Olive (Nell Blake Fowler ’17). Chlnkiang, China, and Marjorie Spence. ’20, Santiago, Chile. The former, after a furlough, returned to China last November; the latter is serving her fourth year in Chile. Mrs. J. D. Carroll (Mary Pruetlc ’16), and little daughter, Dorothy, of Charlotte, were welcome visitors at the college Friday afternoon, March 1. Lois Jacobs, ’28, and Frances Ful- ghum, ex-’30, spent the week-end of February 23 with friends at the col lege. Lina Gough, ’14, of Lumberton, was the week-end guest of Miss Mae Grimmer. Janie Parker, ex-’14, who is as soclated with Mrs. J. W. Ferrell’s school of music, Raleigh, was a guest at the college Sunday. The following spent last week-end here: Luclle Martin, ex-’29, Madaline Moore, '28, Mildred Allen, '28, Mary Willis, ’28, and Jessie Brooks, ’26. Wo aro glad to report that Mrs J. F. Oliver (Lavicce Chambiisa. ’16), who is at Rex Hospital, Raleigh, is Improving satisfactorily after an operation,. We extend deepest sympathy: To Mrs. J. C. Brantley (Mattie Castlebury), in the death of her brother. Dr. F. D. Castlebury, on February 20, Raleigh. To Leonlta Denmark, ’11, in the death of her mother, Mrs. J. W.
