BEST HOOfllS FOR MARCH
AND APRIL, 1929
WORE ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPH
EXHIBIT
The alumnae handbook gives the
information that you are married, but
the mystical date is not given; hence,
I have no way of knowing whether
you have as many children as the “old
woman who lived in a shoe,” or none
at all, assuming that the number is
determined by time alone. At any
rate, I am sure Meredith grandchildren
are unniorous, and you, probably know
of some in your community even If you
do not possess any yourself.
• If you read Tiim Twro you have al
ready learned of the exhibit of photo
graphs and snapshots to be held at
conimeocenient this year. Won’t you
cofiperate and send at least one picture
of one of yonr youngsters? It doesn’t
have to be a recent pliotograph—pei-
haps. you have a darling picture of
youi' fourteon-yoar-old (laughter taken
whnn she was two, if you happen to be
one of the earlier graduates; or pev-^
haps your offspring Is still a baby. ^
Just any picture you want to send will j
do, as we want all ages and just as i
many pictures as we can possibly get. I
With each picture, please Include
your name aud address, the name and
age oC the child or children whose
pictures you send, and postage tor the
return of the pictures. Send all con
tributions to Miss Mae Grimmer,
Alumnae Secretary, Meredith Collegi’,
Raleigh. N. C., by May 22, 1929.
This ought to be one of the most at
tractive features of commencemont. If
you are not coming, send the pictures
any way, so your schoolmates can sec
and enjoy them.
Looking forward to an exhibit that
will far surpass Miss Ida's art exhibit,
I am.
Sincerely yours,
G&RTituuE Horn Waostaff, ’13.
We hope tiiat every alumnae mother
will respond to the appeal addressed to
her in this Issue by sending one or
more contributions for the photograph
