Fonr t B. S. U. NOTES t 4 Foreign Missionaries The whole campus has been alive with the new vision of mis sions in foreign fields. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Dozier who are to sail for Japan in November, were here for several days last week; and every one seemed to have a personal I'nterest in their work. Mr. Dozier, who is better known to us as Helen’s brother, was born in Japan and lived there until he came over to America to enter school. After graduat ing with the class of ’S9 from Wake Forest, Mr. Dozior went to the Southeni Baptist Theolog ical Seminary, where he finished in ’32. Mrs. Dozier is a grad uate of the W. M. U. Training School in Louisville, Kentucky. Wouldn’t it be grand if we could really know more missionaries! All of our prayers and thought will be following Mr. and Mi's. Dozier as they start out in their new work. CoLx-EGE Department Organ ized AT Pullen Memorial Church Hattie Mullis has done a good piece of work since the beginning of school in her organization of a college department at Pullen Memorial Baptist Church. This college department was organ ized primarily for the purpose of meeting the needs of the State College boys and Meredith girls. Much interest has been shown in this new step, and we’re proud of Hattie for starting such a good thing! B. Y. P. U. Social “Boys, boys everywhere”— seemed to be the theme song of all Meredith girls Saturday night. Meredith seemed to be swarming with boys at the gala occasion, and it has been said by many that it was a queer sight. Looks as if Meredith will be well represented at Wake Forest so ciety day according to the time made by the girls! New Books in Library (Continued from last issue) Rainbows Who isn’t made happier by the rainbow? Well, come out to niorning watch every morning and learn more about “llain- bows.” Tliis means and yoii, and Great News! Tiiere lias been some good news circulating around on t& campus lately. What? The State B. S. U. conference will be held in CJmpcl Hill, November 4-6. We want a big crowd from Meredith, so start making your plans now to go. Our Japanese Girl All of us are thrilled over the prospect of sending a little Japa nese girl to school this yeax*. Do you realize what this might mean to Japan?
