Don’t Miss The Start of Something New!]
We are proud to announce that Meredith College now has a Sociology Club. The start of a
Sociology Club has been in the making since last semester. It is now a reality since the Student
Life Committee has passed the proposed constitution.
If anyone is interested in joining the Sociology Club the big fall semester meeting, to get the
club off the ground, will be November 23,1981 at 7:00 In Joyner Lounge. Anyone wishing to join can
bring $2.00 for dues which will give you membership rights for the rest of the ’81-’82 year. This
meeting will be extremely important because we will elect officers. The agenda will also include a
discussion of a club trip to Richmond in the spring and {dans for a club b^ter raffle for record
albums. We will also have an added bonus for this meeting for which you should bring loose
change. This could bring you an “expected” Christmas present from the Sociology Club.
If you would like to be involved in a club from the very beginning, please come November 23.
All new Sociology majors are especially welcome!
