PAGE 4 THE TWIG APRIL 9, IS84 Aqua Angels swam into action last weekend The Meredith Aqua Angels presented a fantastic show last Thursday, March29,and Friday, March 30 entitled "V\Mer Colors.” Their hard work proved successful when applause filled the Witherspoon Pool. The first color to take the stage was purple in a number entitled 'Total Panic" t>y Martin Rushent and Human League. Swimirm were Catherine Cole, Mary Kay Mdver, Sandy Fitz gerald, Michele Roberson, Susan Hassell, Mia Sanderford, Laura Litchfield, and Cammy Smith. Next came the colors of the ocean, pink and blue in a num ber entitled “Here Comes My Baby” by Perry Botkin, Jr. and his Orchestra Swimmers were Sarah Kendall and Melissa McLaney. The Rose followed to the Intramurab UpdtUe Here are the final results of the MCPPT (NAeredith College Ping Pong Tournament); The individual class win* ners are as follows: senior class - Wynne Carey; junior class • Rhett Ellerbee; sophomore class - Laura Cochran, and freshman class - Susw Beck.
