Meredith. We have shown two movies
already and have many more planned.
The Luau will be hekl at the Octo
ber 3 at 4: X. Tom DeLuca will be back
with more of his zany jokes and hypno
sis on October 16 at 6:00 p.m. In Jones
Auditorium. Movies this fall will be the
TerminatOT- Oct. 6, 7:30 & 9:30 p.m.;
The Creature from the Black Lagoon -
Oct. 20, 8:00 &9;30p.m.; Ghostbust-
ers-Oct. 27, 7:30 p.m.; Nightmare on
Elmst.-0ct.27,9:30p.m.; and Terms
of Endearment - Nov. 7, 7:30 & 9:30
p.m. The Holiday Dance will be held
this year on November 23 from 9 p.m. -

We accept original photography, pen
and ink drawings and literary works
(poetry, prose, short stories - in any
language).
This year, we are acepting material
from now until Fetxuary, in order to ac
commodate our Spring publtoatlon
date.

dub Is growing and we hope you will
become a part of it. t-a&t year at the
National Convention Meredith won
most outstandlr)g College Republican
Club fora woman’s college on a n^ion-
al level. This year’s State Convention
will be at North Carolina State Univer
sity the first we^nd in November. We
lv)pe to do as well at this convention as
the rtational convention last year.
Officers were elected September 3
and they tiave already made some ex
citing plans; including a trip to
V\tehington, DC in the Spring Semester
and a trip to Elon College February 25
to see former President Gerald Ford.

first Tuesday of each nxmth at
7:30p.m. in 103 Joyner. The next meet
ing is October 1 .The film, "Media Bias”
