Writing Center Active This Semester by Jayne Potter The Writing Center is going strong again this semester. In fact, the center has been so busy that there has been a waiting list on several occasions. Since the Writing Center is on a first- come, first-serve basis, it is important for students to make an appointment and to be on time. Nan Miller, the direc tor, suggests that students actually go down to the center, in 122 Jones, and sign up themselves rather than calling. Because the Writing Center has so many students needing help, Mrs. Miller and the tutors ask that you call ahead of time if you cannot make your appoint ment. That way students bn the waiting list can be called in in your place.
