The Office of Career Services and
Cooperathre Education has put into
motion a series of workshops to prepare
seniors for the Job Pair and for on^
campus recruiting. Other workshops
have been announced for resume
development, interviewing skills, and
preparing for graduateschool. Brochures v
are scheduled to be distributed campus-
wide next week.
Depending on the availability of
current addresses from the Registrar’s
Office, non-residents may not receive
mailings from this office. Please come
by Cate Center 2nd Floor to be certain
you have all information regarding
services.
URGENT REMINDER TO SENIORS:

Itegistration workshop to qualify seniors
to participate in the Job Fair in
Greensboro November 5 & 6. Although
additional registration woricshops will
be offered in October and November to
qualify students for on-campus
recruiting, students will need to attend
an early woricshops for the first recruiters
scheduled.

Meredith Fellows travelled with
students from the twelve other
participating schools across North
Carolina. TTie week-long trip included
stops at various public schools across
the state and businesses that make
contributions to educational programs.
Tamara Seamone, one of the Fellows
explains, “The trip to the public schools
made me appreciate teachers and the
job they do, and going into different
schools made me see there's a lot of
good in the schools."
The trip, which was began at
Meredith College, wound down at
Meredith’s campus as well. The fellows
left with a new perspective on their
future and many new friends. "The neat
thing for me," says Maryn Bruestle, “was
meeting Teaching Fellows from all over
the state and sharing their ideas about
teaching in the future."
