Under the direction of coach Carl Hatchell the team has won all of their seven games so far this season. Their most recent victory against Averett College was a home game last Wednesday, December 5 at 7:00pm. Starting with the tip-off, Meredith dominated the entire game in both defensive and offensive situations. The Angels scored the first two points of the game and went on to lead at the half with a 9 point lead. Throughout the second half Averett’s team struggled with their defense. The Angels were always ready for Averett’s missed rebounds and the score continued in Meredith’s favor, finally whomping Averett College with an impressive score of 72-43. The Angels have made this season so exciting and they truely need your support, so come on out to the games and bring a friend. The next scheduled home game is January 19 against LyrKhburg College.
