Campus Activities Celebrate
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Meredith’s Association for Black
Awareness has organized several
activities to celebrate the birthday of Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
On Tuesday, January 22, the famous
“I Have A Dream" speech and the “Eyes
on the Prize” series will be available for
viewing from 3“5pm. MCTV will also
present programs pertaining to King.
On Wednesday, January 23 at the'
Grief Group - “Loving, losing,
leaving, letting go" begins Wednesday,
January 23 (or Wednesday, January 30,
depending on when registration ends)
and runs eight consecutive Wednesdays.
Time is from 3:30 - 5:00 pm
ACOA (Adult Children of Alcoholics)
Support Group - “Quenching the thirsty
spirit" begins Monday, January 28 and
ends Monday, March 25. Time is from
3:00 - 4:30 pm.
10:00 am chapel service, Irving
Joyner will speak on how we can
continue Kings’ work. Dr. Joyner wSl be
available for a question and answer
session after the service.
Upcoming Support Groups from
Personal Growth and Counseling Center
A group designed for women ^ose
lives have been affected by substance
abusing families or significant others.
Co-dependency issues will be explored.
