MEA Explains
Date for Fall
Semi-Formal
by Jacqui Daio
The Meredith Entertainment
Association is sponsoring the
Winter Semi-Formal Dance on
Friday, Nov. 15 at the R^eigh
Civic Center. Many people have
expressed concern about fte event
being held on Friday night. The
reason for the Friday night date is
that we were unable to reserve the
Raleigh Civic Center for any other
night, due to the limited places
that can hold a large number of
people, approximately 1500 stu
dents, the Civic Center was the
only available option. The MEA
officers and committee chabrs look
forward to this event and to seeing
you there. Sheri Neal and Sherrie
Lane have worked very hard to
make this dance a huge success. It
will be a night to remember! If
you have any further questions or
concerns, please call the MEA
office, X8650.
