The team played its best game up to this pointonFridayagainst Randolph MaconWoman’sCollege, winning 15- 17,15-8,15-9,15-5. Coach Chamblee states, “Overall, we moved better and our teamwork was much better.” Sophomore Jamie Richards, a middle hitter, had an outstanding game, according to Chamblee. “She had great blocking, was very aggressive, and had about 5 kills a game,” Chamblee said. Things are looking good for the team, and a big part of that is due to the adjustment to its new defensive strate gies. Jamie Richards is pleased with the team’s improvement “I feel like we’re really coming together as a team,” she said.
