Do you want to promote the general wel fare of the stadent body? Do you want to be aleader in the Meredith community? If you answered “yes” to all of these questions, then Student Government Association (SGA) wants you! SGA is looking for a few good women to hold posi tions that were not filled during the elections. Positions available include SGA secretary, SGA treasurer. Senate secretary, Student Life members-at-large (2), StudentLife secretary. Elections Board secre tary, Publications Board chair and Publications Board class represen tatives (1 per class). If you are interested in flying for any of these positions, pick up a copy of the job description and an application in the Office of Stu dent Activities. Applications are due by Friday, April 2. Interviews will be held April 5 and 6. Also, anyone interested in serv ing as a student representative on a faculty committee, please.contact Camille at X7642. Senior pair wins roommate game by Liz Smitbman Seniors Kathryn Steed and Liz Crockett from Barefoot Resi dence Hall won the Roommate Game last Tuesday. The game, sponsored by Residence Hall Board, tests how much room mates know about each other. For coming in first. Steed and Crockett won dinner at Fat Daddy’s, a game of Putt Putt Golf, a $5 gift certificate to Doug’s Ice Cream and $5 in quar ters for laundry. Second place went to senior Courmey Marks and sophomore Crystal Howard from Faircloth Residence Hall, third place to sophomores Allison Trabucco and Michelle Braswell from Brewer Residence Hall and fourth place to juniors Kasey Yount and Kelly Falls from Poteat Residence Hall. Freshmen Nikki Wilson and Jenny McFadden from Stringfield Residence Hall, freshmen Amanda Kendrick and Teresa Jones from Vann Residence Hall and juniors Sharon Thomes and Kristy Arey from Heilman Residence Hall tied for fifth place.
