February 15,1995 Campus Opinion 3 Question of the Week: Do you have any solutions for the future of Meredith? compiled by Jetson Rebekka Heffinger junior "I think we all ned to work to gether- students, fciculty, and admin istration- and not lower the standards of Meredith." Kimberly Jackson senior "If the faculty is not happy or does not see job stability, they won't be able to do their best as educators." Melissa Bryant junior "We need to have more meetings between campus student panels and the Board of Trustees, so they can be enlightened on the changing needs of Meredith students of the 90's." Leslie Hall junior "My suggestion is to look at why freshmen are leaving. I think it has more to do with not changing with the times - they are treated like babies." Jenny Sterling sophomore "My goal is to go to grad school and teach here, so I'm worried about the future of Meredith. But we need to clam down and woric together and not take sides or place blame." Theresa Peters freshman "I think they should have more interactions with other schools because a lot of students are leaving Meredith." Bobbin Gossman junior "I've heard too many conflicting stories to know exactly what is going on." Debbie Kolb senior "We've only really heard the stu dents' side, so it's hard to make any suggestions."
