Career day at Meredith by Deanna Griffin MAPSCMeredith Alumnae Preparing Students) Career Networking Day was an insightful resource provided by The Office of Alumnae Relations, the Networking Committee of the Meredith Alumnae Association, and The Office of Career Services. Eight different valuable career information sessions were held last Thursday. Both Meredith under graduates and post - graduates attended the sessions to exchange questions and answers with Meredith alumnae who have successful careers in the fields of psychology, science, health care, communications/public relations, sales, fashion merchandising, marketing, accounting and more. Those who attended were informed on topics such as interviewing, job placement avenues and specific duties involved in certain job positions. This professional, yet friendly atmosphere provided the perfect opportunity for students to freely seek answers to important questions, and helped students feel more secure about where to go and what to do once they graduate. “Invest In You: Pushing Yourself To The Limit Without Falling Off The Edge” Take some time out for yourself and join us for the annual fall confer ence which puts your needs first.
