• USA Today is looking for 60 full-time students to be namct
to its All-USA Academic team. Students will be featured in a
two-page color insert in the newspaper^ and the top 20 wjU
receive cash prizes as well The deadline for nominations is
NoVv 17. Nominations are to come from faculty members.
They are looking for students who excel not only in scholar
ship but in leadership roles on and off campus. Students will
be Judged on an outstanding original academic or intellectual
product. Students need recommendations from the nominat
ing professor. Nomination forms and a contact number is
located in the Honors office.

(NCUR> is promoting undergraduate research, scholsirship
and creative activity by sponsoring an undergradiuite re
search conference on April 18-20 in Asheville NC. The dead
lines for abstracts is Dec. 10,1995, Open for students in a
wide variety of disciplines.
