February 14,1996 2 Campus Opinion Letter to the editor-. Seniors want their spaces Dear Editor, Once being an underclassman myseif, i realize how easy it is to see a parking space open closer to the dorm and to park there thinking that you’ll only be there a short time or that there are plenty of other spaces open for the seniors to park. But lately parking has gotten out of hand. My classmates and I have tried to tolerate the parking problem. We then tried to remedy it by giving tickets. Nothing helps. 1 have given some cars numerous tickets and still see them parked in senior spaces. It seems that tliis plea is one of our last resorts to reclaimour parking. Most of us have waited four years to be able to have our own parking spaces. The spaces are clearly marked S^IORS, except for when it snowed and the word was covered. I see how that could have been confusing, but it isn’t snowing now. We are well into ourlast semester at Meredith, so please help us to enjoy our last months here by parking where you have been assigned. You will have your chance soon to be a senior and to relish its privileges. Your cooperation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you from all the seniors, JoAnna Grubbs Calendar of Events By Arinn Dixon February 16,17,21-25 - Tlieater in the Park will present the stage adapta tion of the movie Prelude to a Kiss.
