The exhibit is on view in the second floor gallery of the Page-Walker Center and runs through Apr. 20. Admission is free. Frank Lloyd Wright spent more than 70 years creating designs that revolutionized (he art and architecture of this century. The Page-Walker exhibit includes artifacts and repro ductions of architectural motifs, site renderings by the artist, photographs and examples of arts and crafts items utilizing Wright designs. The exhibit is from the collection of local architect William M. Britt, AlA. In conjunction with the exhibit, the Page-Walker Center will be offering a spe cial course examining the life, works and legacy of America’s most influential architect- The course, "Frank Lloyd Wright, An American Genius,” meets on Tuesday evenings beginning Mar. 16- Apr. 20 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. and will be conducted by Britt, who has studied Wright for over thirty years. The class will focus on Wright's individualism and his cultural influence and examine how Wright’s designs have bccome an inte gral part of American live.s. The course will include a rare video of a Wright- designed building and a new interactive software demon strations of a Wright design never executed. The cost ol' the coursc is $50 for Cary residents and $56 for non-Cary residents.
