Shield constitution, faculty
and current Silver Shield
members choose new mem
bers "on the basis of con
structive leadership, honor
and service to the school."
Silver Shield recognized
those women from the jun
ior and senior classes who
promoted by example and
precept a well-rounded stu
dent life, an understanding
between faculty and stu
dents, a high standard of
honor and cooperation in
the student body, the ideals
and traditions of Meredith
College and a strong com
mitment to the honor sys
tem on campus.
New senior inductees
included: Karen Bobinyec,
Mary Kathryn Hardy,
Molly Huffetetler, Paige
Kemmerer, Miranda
McCall, Ci^'stal McLeod,
Randi Miller, and Jenn
Schwachenwald. Juniors
Neph Bailey, Victoria
Bunch and Mary Hemphill
were inducted as associate
members. They will
become full members in the
spring and will serve as
officers during their senior
