Page 8 September 1,2004 CAMPUS OPINION Letter To The Editor To Scudents, and Staff On August 28, 2004, it was announced that Secretary of StaK Colin Powell had cancelled his scheduled visit ro Aiheris, Greece due to the negative protest by the people of Greece. How very sad it is that a repre sentative of our Head of State cannot visit a Worid Event like the Olympics because our coun try is held in such low esteem. We need to regain the respea of the world, and that begins with a strong, respected Head of State who will listen to our allies and move in step with the rest of the world. I believe Senator John Kerry can be chat respect ed Head of State. For that rea son, I can see no alternative other than to cast my vote against an administration that has led us avray Irom being the most respected nation to the most despised country in the world. I urge everyone to research this issue, as well as the many others that have been raised by this year's Presidential cam paigns, and ^te in this year's election, Like the people of Greece, let your voices be heard. We have been endowed with a wonderful right chat allows our desires to be heard; let's use it - vote.
