Class of ‘06 Wins Cornhuskin’
Second Year in a Row
MARIA SANTORE
Editor
After winning last year, the
seniors knew the underclass
men would be out to take the
crown from them, but the se
niors stepped up and accept
ed the challenge. Although
the class of2006 won, it was
not without a fight from the
rest of the classes. The senior
class impressed the crowd
full of parents, grandparents,
alumni, and future Meredith
students with their large
number of participants, their
fancy dance routines, and
humorous, yet serious mes
sage in their script. The se
niors showed their maturity
with the theme “the legacy”
and the message that the odd
and even classes should all
put their differences aside
and get along. The juniors
wowed the crowd with im
pressive props and cos
tumes, while the sophomores
showed their sfrengths in
cornhuskin’, apple bobbin,
designing of the sweatshirt,
and attendance. The fresh
men were finally able to just
experience it all and took
the audience back to the 80s
with their skit.
