Pubnstiecl by Minton Press BEGINHIHGS, Continued from Page 1 add to her debt load, she quickly searched and found another option. She will begin an MA program at Hum boldt State University in northern California this fall. Megan Brooks, who entered with the class of 2010, will graduate this year with a degree in Biological Sci ences and go on to graduate school. She is finishing early to keep costs down. Other students have visions of where they are headed, but the immediate future is not as clear. Jill Palchinsky, who will graduate with double majors in music and biological sciences, plans to go to medical school. Her next year will be filled with the pro cess of getting into a med school, but she will try to find some kind of job that still allows her to devote quality time to the application process and perhaps to do some volunteer work. Elise Moffett, a senior communications major, and Meredith Beeman, a senior English major, are both bravely headed out into the world with leads to jobs they hope they can land. Both are excited and ner vous about that future beyond May 10th, but both feel prepared to seek their places. Beeman feels she gained the necessary confidence to enter into the competitive field of publishing from the variety of co-curricular ex periences she had while at Meredith. Likewise, Moffett feels her academic preparation and the opportunities that she has taken advantage of (like presenting at CSA Day) make her ready to face May 11 th with resolve and determination to get out there and be competitive in a tough job market.
