Arts & Entertainment Fashion For a Cause Kiara Glover, Staff Writer The Meredith Angels are into the giving spirit this holiday season, especially Dr. Diane Ellis’s Visual Merchandising class. The Visual Merchandising class will he holding a Christ mas inspired fashion show Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. in Jones Auditorium to help benefit the Wound ed Warriors project. The Wounded Warrior project is a non profit organization whose pur pose is to raise awareness and enlist public aid for the needs of injured service members and provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured members. There will be a variety of gorgeous fash ions presented by many different boutiques and stores in the Raleigh and Fuquay-Varina area. Guests will also have the chance to win amazing door prizes throughout the night and enjoy delicious refreshments provided at the reception following the fashion show in the rotunda. So if you are a fashion lover, want to show support for your fellow Angels or want to do your part in supporting a good cause, this is one fashion show you do not want to miss! Tickets are being pre-sold before the show by the visual merchandising class for $3.00 a person and tickets will also be sold at the door for $7.00 a person. Something Old And Something New: Holiday Movies Hayden Hains, Staff Writer Tis’ the season to curl up and watch your favorite classic holiday movies. Don’t have one? ABC Family Network always hosts “25 Days of Christmas” movie set where each night a new or old holiday movie airs.
