Join the American Legion and the American Legion
famiiy as we waik through the community in support of
America’s veterans, service mekbers and their famines
and to raise awareness of veterans’ issues and
American Legion Community Programs,
When: Saturd^ June i6, 2018,10 a.fn.
Where: Garner Park, Oakleaf Drive, Pine Kiioii Shores
Cost: $15 per participant; $50 for a family of four,
$10 for each additional family member *
Registration: Register on our Facebook page,
AmeriGanLegionMoreheadCityPost46, or from 9 a.m. to
10 a.m. at Gamer Park the day of the walk. Pay at the
park.

10:1S a.ni.: W^k begins (approx, one mile-bicycles,
golf carts and pets on leashes are welcome)
11 a.m.: Picnic lunch
11:30 a.m.: Drawing for door prizes
PKS Garden Club
Receives National Award
At the recent annual meeting of the Garden Club of
North Carolina, the Pine Knoll Shores Garden Club was
presented with The Blue Star Memorial Landscaping
Highway Marker First Place Award (inset). This was the
only national award received by a North Carolina Garden
Club in 2017. Pine Knoll Shores Garden Club President
